Hello and welcome to the first BLOG entry for Getmecoding.com As you can see this is a place to learn about coding. Coding is software programming and I have spent a long time learning it, doing it, and teaching it and it is my goal to help you. Whether you are new to programming and want to learn what this is all about, a parent looking to help a young person learn to code because you have heard it is a good thing to learn, or someone who is looking for advice on furthering your coding knowledge, I would like to assist.
“Where do I start?” is the common question I hear from so many people. If you find yourself asking this same question, then you are at the right place. So many tools, websites, and experience litter the landscape. Whether you use this site or another there is one thing you have to be and that is persistent. You can’t learn about coding or working with a technology by reading it. You want to also spend time doing it.
